National University Holiday Party

December 15th, 2008

I was in La Jolla on Saturday the 13th for the National University Holiday Party. I worked with Jesse from Picnic People . Although it was an afternoon event outside the rain was minimal and still had a good turn out for the event. I had set up sound in 3 different locations making the set up more time consuming than I have ever done before. It turned out to be a 1 1/2 hour set up due to taping down over 250′ of cable. There was no dancing just ambiance of Holiday music. I did play current top 40 for the younger guests so they would not get bored. Seems they had a good time and I look forward to any future events they may have.

San Diego Wedding Officiant

December 11th, 2008

I just wanted to let you all know of a recent wedding officiant I had worked with this year! Her name is a Deborah Young.
She officiated a ceremony at the Maderas Resort back in August in which I got a chance to see her style. She supplied me with some background ambiance that set the mood for her very calm professional speaking voice. I was quite impressed! Then in November I bumped into her at a wedding she was officiating right on the beach. I noticed her when I came down to take a glance at the ceremony after I had finished setting up for the reception. Then low and behold when I was finishing some last minute details to get ready for the reception I heard my name and it was Deborah coming up to the rooftop to say hello to me! If you are looking for a personable officiant for your ceremony be sure to give her a look!

2008 Wedding Season Was Great!

December 10th, 2008

I’d like to start by saying I had a great wedding season this year! I’d especially like to thank Joan Burns wedding coordinator in the North County who I had the pleasure of working with a few times this year. I look forward to the events that we have together in the 2009 year!

The Grand Del Mar Resort

December 10th, 2008

I had the pleasure of playing a Holiday Party for Travelzoo.com @ the Grand Del Mar on Dec 6th. This party was off da chain! We went overtime cause the dance floor was packed and no one wanted to leave. The staff actually had to come over and tell me to stop at 1am.

The music and crowd and having Jeff and Jason from
www.flairaholiks.com just made for an over the top party!

San Diego Asian Film Festival

October 12th, 2007

Jen and I went to this red carpet event last night. The company she works for happens to be one of the sponsors. So we did our part to represent and do the meet and greet thing. We got to meet Lee Ann Kim from Channel 10 news, our county supervisor Ron Roberts. We got to see a hand full of actors who have movies that are being showcased at the festival. It looks like some pretty good independent films that may be worth checking out.
